FUNDRAISING Because Time Together is a Not for Profit charity, we need to raise additional funds to enable us to provide some activities such as Happy Mondays What we are fundraising for in 2010: Happy Mondays has a continued need for fund raising to allow us to not only continue to provide existing activities, but to expand and develop what we offer. Time Together also have other projects that they would like to develop, such as creating a respite home for adults with disabilities and building a computer suite that clients can use with their support workers to develop their skills. On Monday 23^rd August we held a Happy Mondays fund- raiser Barbecue at Beckwithshaw Football Club. Thank you to the Beckwithshaw Football Club Committee for letting us have use of this hall. The weather was not kind to us, it rained all evening but was still a big success. We raised over £150 and had lots of people turn up to take part in the raffle, buy cakes and to eat! On the 8^th August Hayley Morris did a sky dive to raise money for Happy Mondays. Hayley was a student on placement at Time Together so it was really great to hear that she was doing this for the group.
