Time Together run a social club called Happy Mondays. The members who attend the club are all people that the Time Together team work closely with, have developed good relationships with and have understanding of their needs and aspirations. Happy Mondays is a group of about twenty people that meet every Monday from 4pm until 7pm to take part in social activities such as bowling, quiz nights, snooker and meals out. This club is designed to give people the opportunity to socialise with others and make new friends, to go to different places, to enjoy new activities and to be active members of the community. By attending the club many of the members have grown in confidence because they are interacting with other people and doing things they have not done before. Some of the members have formed really close friendships. Happy Monday’s always has a relaxed atmosphere and everybody really seems to enjoy themselves.   The support Happy Monday’s provides is about enabling members to make choices and to take part in activities independently with friends.
