The launch date will be on Tuesday the 7^th of September at the Manhattan Club, Harrogate. Time Together staff will be facilitating the group we will be providing a social group for adults with learning disabilities so that they can make new friends, experience new things and are able to enjoy the activities that we do in our every day lives. If people require support with personal care or need 1 to 1 support for other aspects they will need to come with a support worker. Please discuss this with your care manager. The friendship network is also there to help the individual gain the confidence to be able to build closer and better friendships with other people and also to develop communication skills. We also help to develop skills for adults with learning disabilities such as independence in the community. Please do feel free to come along if you would like to find out more information about this social group or if you are interested in joining.
